Geodude is found in fields and mountains. People often step or trip on them because their colors are similar to that of their surroundings. Geodude rolls downhill in search of food every morning. It climbs mountain paths using only the power of its arms. Geodude buries itself halfway into the ground when it sleeps deeply. The longer a Geodude lives, the more its edges are chipped and worn away, making it truly resembles a solid round rock. They headbutt against each other in a contest to prove whose is harder because they are proud of their sturdy bodies. Up until now, Geodude is still impossible to distinguish from rocks.
Kantonian Geodude is commonly found near mountain trails and the like. Its round body makes it easy to pick up, but it is hard and heavy. It's dangerous to play with them, considering their sturdy body. There are plenty of them to be found along any road. If you nudge Kantonian Geodude by accident, it instantly gets angry to you.
Alolan Geodude has a magnetic body, retaining the rocky texture the ordinary Geodude has. Iron sand attaches firmly to the portions of its body that are particularly magnetic. Its stone head is imbued with electricity and magnetism. People will often hear a crunching sound and feel a shock ripple through their entire body if they accidentally step on an Alolan Geodude sleeping on the ground.
